Sarah Haywood Weddings offer a personal, bespoke and flexible approach to wedding planning, working alongside some of the most respected companies and individuals in the events business. Together with those suppliers we set trends rather than follow them.

We offer full event management, a planning consultation service, wedding workshops and last minute event crisis management. One of our areas of expertise is planning last-minute events (we have organized weddings in under six weeks).

We do not work on a commission basis - we want to source what is right for you. We structure our fees according to the service and with discounts offered to us passed on to our clients. Because we are not reliant upon a cut from suppliers to earn our fees, we can offer a truly independent, bespoke service without the need to restrict the search to those who offer us the largest referral fee or percentage. Our reputation within the industry however, means suppliers, vendors and venues are keen to work with us and for us to bring them repeat business. This ensures that in many cases we do secure significant discounts for our clients.

Most of our clients opt for Sarah to create and style their celebration with them and to oversee and manage the event in its entirety. For this bespoke service we work in whatever way suits you and your lifestyle - out of hours or long distance if required. We can work around your schedules and bring prospective suppliers direct to you in most cases.

After an initial consultation during which we complete a detailed events and lifestyle questionnaire, we will furnish you with a comprehensive written quotation. We will work closely with you to ensure we find a wedding venue(s) that reflects the type of celebration you require and in the right location. Once the venue(s) is secured we will together begin to fill in the details of your celebration: from your wedding day wardrobes, florist, photographer and catering to bands and entertainment, your cake, wedding transport, guest accommodation and concierge service and getting your bags to your honeymoon destination should you require it. Nothing will be secured without your instruction but we will ensure you work within your budget and to time.  On the month and week of your wedding we can provide you with a detailed schedule of appointments as well as suggestions as to how to best manage the run up to your wedding celebrations.

Until we have an idea of the size of your event, the budget you have to work with, the location and exactly what level of service you require from us, it is difficult to accurately quote a price to you. However, on average our costs for this service are 12 to 15% of the event budget. There is a minimum spend of £5000 and this is capped for higher budget events.

In a one-to-one consultation with Sarah Haywood any or all aspects or planning for your wedding can be covered and at whatever stage in the wedding planning process you are. We can offer budgeting assistance, a venue and suppliers search service, styling and coordination advice. If you later decide to hire us to plan or manage your event the £500 fee is refundable. Sarah can also offer consultations to couples who have already planned their day but who would like a professional Wedding Day Schedule compiled from £500. This will ensure timings are realistic, that nothing has been left to chance and will help you maximize the potential of your day.

For couples simply needing extra hands and help in build up to their big day (or if it all gets too much and you need support) we can also offer wedding week and wedding day assistance. Subject to our previous commitments we can offer this service last-minute. From £1000
